James is fascinated by humans and human nature and is passionate about using behavioral science to build better organisations.

An accomplished speaker, author, and advisor, James has extensive experience leading behavioural, cultural and technological transformation in global organizations. He’s led projects in more than 60 countries on 6 continents in industries including banking, insurance, mining, oil & gas, construction, transport, government, education, healthcare, not-for-profit, and aged care.

James previously co-founded and led Deloitte’s global Behavior First offering, practically applying insights from Anthropology, Behavioural Economics, Neuroscience, and Psychology to help organisations address critical challenges.

He hosts The B-Word, a podcast featuring leading figures from the social and behavioural sciences exploring what it means to be human and how organisations can better understand and influence behaviour.
